The IUCN/SSC Small Carnivore Specialist Group (SCSG) brings together more than 100 of the world's leading experts on small carnivores; including scientists, wildlife managers, and conservationists. This group of technical experts from over 30 countries promotes the conservation of the world's small carnivores through science-based research, management and education.

The Mission of the Missouri Department of Conservation is to protect and manage the fish, forest and wildlife resources of the state; to serve the public and facilitate their participation in resource management activities; to provide opportunity for all citizens to use, enjoy and learn about fish, forest and wildlife resources.
