A forest business cluster registry has been created to help businesses, organizations, and other forestry stakeholders locate and network with similar efforts across the nation. For purposes of this registry, a forest business cluster is defined as:
Groups of forest-based firms or organizations located within a defined geographic region that have developed cooperative links with each other.
Forest business clusters range in size from less than a dozen firms and organizations located in a community or county to hundreds of firms operating at a statewide or multi-state level. Forest business clusters can be focused on primary manufacturing, secondary manufacturing or a combination of both. Private firms, public agencies, non-profit organizations, and research and educational institutions all play important roles in supporting and sustaining forest business clusters.
The information you provide will be included in the publicly available online "registry" of U.S. forest business clusters. The registration of your business cluster is voluntary. By completing this form, you give us consent to use the provided information. The information you provide will be screened (possibly edited) and included in the registry database. We assume no responsibility for incomplete or inaccurate information. Please, contact us if you have any questions at rgrala@cfr.msstate.edu or (662) 325-7039.
