My research focuses on assessing the ecosystem services of the adoption of conservation practices in rice agriculture in the Mississippi Delta. Specifically, we are looking at how altered flooding regimes, and decreased tillage impact soil quality, and health with emphasis on microbes, fungi, and pathogens.

My career interests involve working with large scale agriculture to promote sustainable systems. My personal interests include hiking, plants, organic gardening, cooking, my dogs and reading.
